  Tripping on the Truth
Acrylic/Oil Pastel

36x36

We all have moments of clarity in our life. Those things that trip up our conscience thinking and reminds us of who we are...or who we'd like to be. The initial fall, may seem like a harsh blow for some. But, with time, the reflection of self turns into a metaphore for life that brings you into the Now.

  Patterns of Thought
Acrylic/Oil Pastel/Mixed Media

24x30

This painting is available. The mixed media portion of the piece is a Simplicity pattern, that I placed behind the image. The idea was, that we all have segmented ideas of how things are, or how they should be...the trick is to break thru those patterns, and make our own.

  Seeing into Now
Acrylic

36x48

The moment comes when you hear the whisper inside helping you see the three spheres of reality...the past, the present and the future. You choose what to hold on to, what to believe and you sit with the knowing. This painting along with Tripping on the Truth, is in the home of another local collector of my work, the Sullivan-Coates.

  Standing Alone Together
Acrylic/Oil Pastel on Canvas

24x48

I painted this piece with two thoughts in mind. While combining the image from Standing in the Now and showing strength of an individuals character, I also wanted to convey the feeling of loneliness. How you can be with someone physically, but not connect with them mentally.

SOLD/Limited Edition Prints available.

  Stuck in a Moment
Acrylic/Oil Pastel

36x48

And with any process, there is a time, where we feel stuck. We can't move from where we are, or we don't want to, because of fear. This is the time that many of us, rush to conclusions instead of listening to the whisper of self. The melting away is like a detoxification of everything that is not you, to make room for your authentic self...it feels foreign to us, because many of us, never hear what's really going on inside. This piece along with Standing in the Now, are both owned by local collectors of my artwork, The Galanos Family.

  Sitting in the Now
Acrylic

24x48

This is one of the few paintings, that is still available from this collection. It's also one of my favorites, because it reminds me that slowing down and reflecting is a good thing. This painting represents for me, getting clear with yourself...it's an ongoing process, that many of us don't have time for...but, I believe it's essential to living an authentic life.

  Celebrating Now
Acrylic/Mixed Media

30x40

Like Rising into Now, we all have those moments where we want to buy the world a cocktail and toast to everything. Singing out our confidence and joy of just being here...in the Now! I was commissioned to do this piece for the Turtle Creek Chorale, as part of the celebration of their 25th anniversary. The piece has for it's background, sheets of music that the chorale is know for, then painted over with washes and glazes. The painting sold at their Antiques to Zebra's Auction.
