Well we had a great couple of days. You need to go to Billy's Blog to get the first half of the trip...Missouri pics were great...but, I just got back from there...
We stayed at Casa Fredericko...Thanks Mom and Pop for some incredible buiscuts and gravy for a great breakfast....
Ok, ok...so we get in the car and we hear giggles...it freaked both of us out...we searched the car as we're driving down the road from Mom and Pop's and low and behold, there were two stowaways

Well, we stopped the car and promptly got the 411 on these two...
Turns out their names are Chester and Bud...they were in the back yard at Mom and Pop's and begged us to take them out to see the world...they promised not to eat much, and they would even help with gas...
So, we took one last picture at Lake Sherwood, showed them our travel plans...and we were on our way!

We introduced them to Billy's friend Helen who lives in O'Fallon...had a nice visit with her and got some more trash on Billy...will be saving that for later...trust me...this trip is going to be great...

We get back in the car, we're on our way out of town and Bud begs us to take them to the arch...UGH! Ok, ok, after much whining, we took them...

After getting into Illinois, we decided to gas up...

Bud got hot, so Chet did the windows by himself...

We had to stop off in Vandalia, IL...that's where Kim, my brothers wife is from...
There was an episode at the McDonalds that I don't want to talk about...

Chester woke up from a nap and had to stop and take this picture..

Turns out Chester has a peanut bladder...I can relate...anyway....here he is in the bathroom...

Not to worry, I grabbed him before he headed out to the car with the toilet paper...kinda embarrasing...

So after going thru Illinois, and Indiana, we are now in Springfield, Ohio...
Staying at a Comfort Suites...
Bud and Chet tried to pick up the mother and her daughter at the front desk...but, they had to stay with us tonight...nice try guys!

So, after getting to the room, Chester started his night routine...Face Creme and Room Service...

That's all for today...Chester is sleeping...Bud is still up...more tomorrow!!! Stay tuned to the great adventures of Chester and Bud...it is going to get CRAZY!!!

I'm getting closer to getting everything finished before the trip on monday...looks like I won't be able to finish the Houston order, but will still have it before the end of August...
All the errands today, the delivery of the artcards, the deposit of THE CHECK!!! Yes, I waited...I wanted to hold on to it for a while...it just felt good;)
Going by a couple of venues as well as starting to address the postcards for the Fundraiser for Legacy....I was thinking about my artbuds! Nathan and Liz! Will get to see them briefly on our way to Upstate New York on Tuesday morning, I'm hoping.
That's about all for now...the work day is done for me today...now it's all about fun till tomorrow. Packing tomorrow as well as dropping Gracie off at Casa de Mark Mullino...thanks Mark!
