Mac Attack
Monday, October 9, 2006, 11:07 AM
I'm at the Apple right now, waiting for my name to be called so I can give them my laptop to do some diagnostics...

This is a first for this blog...putting an entry in a store.

Anyway, had a blast with Daylon last night...5 margaritas...should have had ice tea...but, I figured, what the hell.

Working on ideas for paintings...painting cards and trying to get my life back on track...

Rash, is still there...need to get more sore throat spray today.

That's all for now...there's my name

you know the rest

Had another good nights sleep and a very long day...

The computer is down, I'm at Billy's paying bills and resting...was going to a friends birthday dinner than an event where Billy and I have artwork selling...but, opted to stay behind...ugh.

Don't have much else other than I'm really excited to see Daylon from Atlanta tomorrow night.

That's all...hope SJ had fun playing full moon crocket...

9 Hours!
Friday, October 6, 2006, 07:55 AM
I SLEPT 9 HOURA STRAIGHT...ok, still a Mo....I meant that I slept with out doing my new routine of 3 off and 3 off...and why?

Well, yesterday I had lunch with Jeff Sauers...went to Snuffers and had a full order of cheddar fries, by myself...and half a burger.

Anyway, Jeff and I were talking about the rash...he could tell I was preoccupied, because as he was talking...I was eating and scratching...literally at the same time.

He asked what I had tried...he said to think outside the box. I said ok, give me some ideas...acid? jumping in a fire?

We ended up going to Walgreens and looked at all the lotions and sprays.

Long story short...we ended up buying throat spray, burn spray and bendryl spray.

Came home and sprayed each area to see what might work.

Turns out they all did. And it lasted for a little over 3 hours...the smell was a little overwhelming...but, it allowed me to sleep yesterday afternoon...all afternoon till dinner time.

So, I took all three of the sprays and after the shot, I put a layer of each all over my body...I had to wait for the throat spray to dry, but, after it did, I watched a little Will and Grace and went to bed at 11pm...I woke up at 8am and here I am.

Thinking outside the box...all the sprays have the same thing in common...they numb...numbing is good...numbing is what I need...

So, today, I can get some more work done...flu like symptons? Yep, but, bring it on...I can puke a couple of times a day and feel like crap as long as I don't itch. Ok, I'm itching a little...but, I'm not itching like I have been...so cross your fingers.

And the lesson for yesterday is

Think Outside the Box

Thanks Jeff

3 hours on 3 hours off...

That's about what it is...I sleep for three hours and then stay awake for three hours.

It's really wierd...this rash and the flu like symptons sound minor, but the constant itching is incredibly annoying. I think that night time is the hardest...because I should be sleeping...but, I've worked out a schedule of doing cards in the middle of the night...resting during the day...kind of screwed up...but, it's working for now.

I'm watching the biography of Frida...pretty facinating. Her accident. The thing that ultimately turned her into an artist...her husband Diago, a well known Muralist in Spain. Her life was layered with so many contradictions...pretty much like all of us, if we stop and think about it.

Ok, back up...if we are living or trying to live our authentic lives.

Ok...will try and post some pics later...now it's time for artcards...bed at 6am, up at 9am for meds...lunch at noon then sleeping again right after...blah, blah, blah...it's all good...I'm turning a corner...I am not able to say what I used to say when Billy and I walked the Katy Trail...(poor Katy) anyway...when Billy and I were just about done with the walk, there was a bend in the road, where you knew as soon as you turned it, we were thru...I would say...Just around the bend...

Not ready to say that yet...but, the walk is hopefully almost half over...

Thinking about the trail...maybe I'll walk some of it this weekend...it's supposed to cool down...and it's about time...mid 90's in October is not right.

Ok, later
