Dallas and Back

We made it back from Dallas after narrowly missing some really bad weather...woke up this morning to more rehab.

It was great to see some friends. That mixed with moving stuff ut of Roberts and into storage was more tan overwhelming...I was thinking all weekend about where I am. where I've been and where I'm going....this is it in a nutshell.

Think of the best possible thing that you could accomplish today, and then ask yourself this. What would be even better?

Instead of lowering your expectations to be more in line with reality, raise those expectations and then improve your reality so it matches them. That's a much better choice and yes, you can most certainly do it.

Realize that the best is yet to come. Then get busy and make it happen.

What has happened before may be interesting and useful to know about. Yet all of that is in the past, and right now the world is filled with brand new possibilities.

The quality of your life right now depends on how you live it right now. What will you choose to do with such a magnificent opportunity?

I think this is the hardest thing I've ever done...just happy to have friends and family who are patient enough to stick around. More soon on tcell and vira load numbers.

Tough times don't last, tough people do.

Todays rehad was tough..it was hard to concentrate with everything going on...

Pop is already in Dallas, mom and I fly out early tomorrow morning...and the moving begins...again, tough to think about and not break down...I'm hoping that thinking about it the past couple of days will help out tomorrow and sunday.

Tough times don't last, tough people do.

Note to Self...

Even when you are thoroughly committed to staying positively focused, life can get in the way. Though you may have the best of intentions, there will be times when you veer off course as a result of your own actions.

When that happens, don't beat yourself up about it. Just recognize it, accept it, learn from it, and get moving again in a positive direction.

Winners and losers will both stumble. The difference is, winners have learned to quickly get back up.

If you make a mistake, or lose your temper, or allow yourself to become distracted, it's normal and natural, and not the end of the world. Though it is painful when you've disappointed yourself, you have the opportunity to make something positive out of that pain.

It is indeed a good thing to realize that what you have just done was not the best choice. For now you can move forward with a renewed and stronger determination

Hump Day...

Rehab has come and gone, as has the day. I didn't want to be there today, but poof, there I was.

So much going on with the trip to Dallas this weekend...still trying to distance myself from the process...focus on the task...yeah right.

Rehab went well...they kicked my ass, but in a good way.

So much to think about and do...am blest to have mom and pop on my team.

Looking forward to a sunny warm weekend.

Guess that's it for now...

Tough times don't last, tough people do.

Almost Tomorrow...

No nap today....more sunshine, and getting ready for more rehab tomorrow.

More calls, emails and yes, some jewel quest...

It's weird saying goodbye to Anita and now Alden, but, that's life.

Getting rid of more stuff, getting things ready for Jim's garage sale in April...

Thinking, with no nap during the day, I'll get used to the travel and the sorting that'll be happening this weekend.

Tomorrow is almost here...then it'll be the next day...how profound is that....

A parting thought...

I want to do this again...something as simple as leaning over and standing...painting, lifting, walking on my own...every thing you take for granted is now a chore...

Tough times don't last, tough people do.
