A great weekend started last night with a more than exciting fudraiser for The Lone Star Ride...and continued this morning with the pick-up of my new 3 wheel bike...I'm borrowing it from the great people at B&B Bikes in Cedar Hill Texas.

Beth, not shown is the owner. Jeff, pictured with me, helped us load the bike - phone is 972-293-3100, they do great bike rentals as well as bike repairs!





Have the Helmet, have the gloves, got a flag so people can see me...now I just need a name that hopefully starts with a B.

Going for my first ride tomorrow with a friend!

Brother Boy, the magic pen was given to me last friday at P/T...I posted it on my facebook page and got requests for obtaing one...I decided then and there to give it away as long as the person would do the same and give it to someone who needed it...It's now the traveling magic pen...let's see where it goes.

100 degrees yesterday in the shade...I did a garage sale and cleaned out the house of extra lamps and extra things.

Friday was DQ friday of course, 2 new inductees to the secret club of the cone!

2 Art pieces found a new home last night! You Didn't Hear It From Me as well as Trinity...a great feeling.



Last night was filled with new friends old friends and plenty of Art Talk.

It was also for me a reminder of why I do what I do!



All in all, a busy week, Physical Therapy, Painting, Getting back into a routine after a week of vacation.



This is me working with a laser cane at P/T...the concept is, everytime I put the cane down on my right, a laser appears on the floor that I need to try and step thru-causing me to put more weight on my left side and bend my knee. This as well as other things I'm doing is helping to build my confidence back up in my muscle action...reworking the brain.

Left brain/right brain...it's all good, just thankful to be here.



Notice my left foot is swollen...comes from exercising it, no worries, it doesn't hurt...just frustrating.
